Where are my time-travel romance lovers? If you are into time travel stories, or you’d like to read books like Outlander without the explicit content, this is the book for you! It’s a quick, fun read, filled with action and romance.
After a series of strange events, including finding a mysterious dagger, Dillon finds himself transported to Medieval Ireland. He is rescued by woman named Ailish, and together they work to find a way back to his own time.
I loved the humor, action, and relationships in this story. Watching Dillon (attempt) to navigate unfamiliar territory resulted in some hilarious banter. The humor brought some levity to an otherwise serious plot. I enjoyed seeing Ailish grow as a character, and the connection she created with Dillon. There was plenty of action, especially toward the end of the story. It was fun unravelling secrets along with our main characters and trying to solve the mystery. I almost wish there were more to the plot- only because I became very invested in the characters and wanted to spend more time with them. It left me wanting more when it finished- always a good sign! I would feel comfortable passing this book on to a middle school or high school aged student- clean content and language. Click the picture above to enter to win your very own copy!
